Roles and responsibilities

As working in part of a team it is important to establish key roles to ensure the work is complete effectively but fairly.

1. Molly Painter (me):
My role is to record the majority of the footage in the prelim task mainly due to Lucy and Martha being filmed in the extract. We made the decision to have Lucy and Martha in the extract as they both took & passed GCSE drama. Furthermore, I have practiced using the camera a lot at GCSE so I'm used to using the equipment, yet we will all share the responsibility of filming. I also was responsible for the general organization of the filming to ensure everything is in place, we decided upon this as I'm good at coordinating the group. 

2. Lucy Malkin:
Lucy's, role was is to ensure all the equipment is prepared to use. So Lucy will ensure all the forms are signed to take responsibility for the colleges equipment, she will collect the equipment and make sure it is ready for use, for example the   video recorder is fully charged. Lucy will take responsibility oft the video recorder and tripod to make sure nothing is damaged or miss placed and all equipment is handed back for the deadline date.

3. Martha Dale:
Martha's role is mainly focusing on the editing of the footage, we have decide this will be a god role for Martha as she has had lots of practice and is very precise in ensuring the extract will have continuity. However, again we will all take part on the editing as it's important to get the whole groups opinion and to ensure we all learn the editing skills.
