2) Match on action:
is used to give the impression of continuous time. One shot cuts to another shot to create the feeling the transition flows and the subject/characters is continuously moving. For our prelim task we will use a match on action when filming a character walking through a doorway. We will film the character each side of the door to show the movement from one location/room to another. This technique creates a visual bridge which disguises and continuity error in the two cuts.
